Despite this, the team existed in several guises, and most notably as an engine manufacturer in the 1990s. The team made its return to the world of F1 in 2010. After the change in the engine regulation (year 2014), the team gained back its glory days.

Ever since 2014, the Mercedes F1 team has participated in 79 races and has successfully secured pole position in 71 races and winning 63 of all. This eventually resulted in the team winning 4 consecutive Drivers’ and Constructors Championship since the year 2014.
